Salazar Small Grains Program

Salazar Farms produces top quality malt barley as a rotational crop. A typical rotation consists of four to six years in which the malt barley grains are rotated with potatoes. After this time the fields are rotated into alfalfa or other soil health crops. This rotational program enhances the health of the soil for long term sustainable farming.
